ARC UPLIFT [Sounds of Embarkation]
bhh 3/21/2024
recorded at-home in one take using The Tub, guitar, and looping.
...................
As rain fell for the first time, having buried Methuselah and finished loading victuals and animated cargo, the huge door at the top of the ramp had been closed by The Hand of Yahweh & the massive vessel moved erratically in its construction frame, buoyed-up, then dropped, askew, as torrents passed beneath the keel, carrying already dislodged buildings and uprooted trees noisily against the hull, and alarming the animals.
Avoiding injury from falling and sliding cargo was difficult, curses and commands filled the hold as damage control measures were implemented. This was not fun. Soon, this clamor subsided, the ship afloat and away ... exhaustion setting in. The rise and fall of the endless sea mixed with snores and heavy breathing.
