Adam Naworal sent me a dense recording or gathered sounds, which I arranged into a longer 6+m piece and added my parts to; new guitar performances and parts of a stray track from 2015.
There were places in the studio-composition where I wanted some special sauce; so I reached out to Richard Hollis for some of his otherworldly guitar tones. I asked RH for "extremely sustained guitar bends".
Upon receiving a 3m WAV of lovely Gibson SG tone and texture, I decided to break Richard's recording into five separate 'stems', which I each gave an individual track and unique panning so that they might cascade through one another in the piece. CHUNKY CHUNKS WITH EXTRA CHUNKS is an abstract painting - a triptych - for the ears.
