Nearly Floodproof Alignment

There have been a lot of torrential NC rain storms during the nine years my folks have been here, but last Thursday, my parents' place was flooded while a tornado hit Greensboro not too far away. Big mess, electricity gone, and some floor damage.
Mom and Dad returned home from a hotel today and all is well again, with just a few insurance things still to get through.
Many fortuitous events conspired to make that day and the resulting damage FAR LESS than it could have been. I'm thankful.
My sister Liz was a CHAMP throughout, managing every moment of it with Trudy's help, and this chord progression hit me right after we had a lovely phone conversation this morning about how it all went down.
