ON OCTOBER 14, 2020, I SENT THIS INVITATION TO ANYONE IN the Electronic Cottage online arts group.
"Collaboration Invitation! Hi EC People. I’d like to invite you into a project-concept I’m calling ‘Known Fruit’.
I will upload the ‘Known Fruit’ MIX and the 5 individual tracks used in it to everyone who sends me their email address.
You will receive an email link from WeTransfer in order to access the files. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Sunday, NOVEMBER 1st, 2020.
When finished, send YOUR MIX - as a WAV file – to me for compilation.
The sooner you dive-in and complete your piece, the better.
I’d like to release this on November 3rd.
If you can work quickly (within two weeks…this is a ‘sprint’), I’d like those interested to either:
[A] Download the 5 individual ‘Known Fruit’ WAV files I will send out and use them in any way you wish to create a new piece of creative audio.
OR
[B] Download the ‘Known Fruit’ MIX I have made (of the 5 individual WAV files) and record accompaniment in any way you wish to create a new piece of creative audio.
OR
[C] Listen to the ‘Known Fruit’ MIX (or the individual files) and create a VISUAL WORK – collage/painting/etc - that you can send me that can be included with the audio release as a *bonus* JPG.
Free release on Bandcamp will occur on 11/3/2020 when all submissions have been gathered, collated into a playlist, and accompanying art readied.

In the event that anyone is interested in making a KNOWN FRUIT mix of their own, I have also included here the five individual tracks sent to collaborators. This compilation is free.
