SUN ZOOM were a space-age improvising quartet in Reidsville, NC, who during the winter of 2010-11 recorded several long-form ensemble pieces at Tall Order Music on Market Street. Phil Sparks: engineer

From these multitrack tapes, Bret Hart culled 2 CD-length releases from; the first was the 2-disc 'BROWN STAR', the second was 'EYEBALLS ON ETERNITY'. Hart views these collective experiments in structured-improvisation a direct prelude to his subsequent music with the band MOON MEN, and acknowledges a great debt to John Mclaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra...
